The Week in Review

Hello Rotarians,
I would like to say Thank You to Judy Johl for making April 26th Rotarians at Work Day a big success.  She organized two work party's one at Sam Brannen Park where we painted the old pump house that will now be used for a storage shed and the second project at River Valley High School where we planted twelve large redwood trees.  Our volunteers consisted of Rotarians, Interact students from River Valley High School, Boy Scouts from Troop 6 and volunteers from Beale Air Force Base 9th Operation Support Squadron.
Assistant District Governor Bill Short and Jack Taylor stopped by both projects on Saturday morning and took pictures and both of them were very impressed with our club in regards to the two projects and all the volunteers that were out helping us.  We all ended up at Sam Brannen park where we were finished with both projects at 11:00 am and we enjoyed pizza and drinks with one another.
Don't forget to sign up this week for the Rotary Family Fellowship Night at Yuba City High School Baseball game starting at 6:30pm.  We will be providing a hamburger meal and drinks for your entire family.

See everyone on Wednesday,
Jeff
